Although small in size, the miniature horses and miniature donkeys that work with this program bring some of the biggest smiles to the patients they visit. From nursing homes to hospital rooms - these little guys can do it all!
Each one has been specially trained to work around medical equipment, wheelchairs/walkers, and in tight situations such as hospital rooms. They are comfortable and calm whilst being petted and touched by the patients they visit.
It is such a joy to to watch a person light up when a minature equine steps into the room!
